Blueprint This Please turns photos of furniture into editable 3D models. This page explains what we collect, why, and who processes it. It is operated from Malta, in the European Union.
Your account
You sign in with Google. Google tells us your name, email address and a Google account ID; we never see your Google password. We keep you signed in with an encrypted session cookie for up to 30 days. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
Your photos and projects
Each photo reconstruction is saved as a project in your account: your photos, the model we reconstructed and your latest edits. You can see them under My projects. Photos are saved without location or camera details. Only you can open your projects.
To analyse a photo, we send it to OpenAI. OpenAI processes it under its API terms, which state that API data is not used to train its models; OpenAI may keep it for a limited period for abuse monitoring. Only upload photos you are allowed to share, and avoid photos that show people or private documents.
We compare new photos with saved ones using fingerprints of the pictures. If a photo matches one already analysed, we reuse that original analysis instead of analysing it again; we never share another person's edits or projects.
Deleting your data
Deleting a project permanently deletes its photos, models and fingerprints. Projects stay until you delete them. To delete everything, or if you can't sign in, email us.
Design files you prepare (PDF, STEP, GLB and others) are generated on our server and deleted after about an hour. When you choose I like it as it is, we also store the predicted model, the version you kept and your corrections, without your photos or email address, to improve future reconstructions.
Fair-use limits
To limit AI costs, we count photo reconstructions per account per day. We store only a one-way hash of your email address with the date and the count.
Who processes your data
- Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany: hosting our server.
- Google: sign-in.
- OpenAI, United States: analysing your photos.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use. Contact us at privacy@blueprintthisplease.com. You can also complain to Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner.
